Heavy rainfall in Bangladesh has left millions caught in flooding across the country. Low-lying areas 'are under water' leaving people trapped on higher ground. Landslides, flash floods and collapsed buildings are claiming hundreds of lives. Thousands are now stranded and displaced.

The situation is critical. There is limited food and people are drinking contaminated floodwater to stay alive. Waterborne diseases and malaria are spreading, making people seriously ill.
